I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year and that the hangover gnomes passed you over this year. I myself overestimated my capacity to have a good time, so I spent most of New Year's Day ignoring my planned projects and bingeing on The Crown on Netflix instead. If you haven't watched it yet, I'd highly recommend it - it's mesmerizing, mostly historically accurate, and will help you forget all of your overindulgences.
Which brings us to this simple yet indulgent drink from Tasty, which I pared down a bit for a single bottle of prosecco. Make as is for holiday festivities, or feel free to leave out the vodka and serve at brunch.
Raspberry Prosecco Fizz
1 pint raspberries
4oz orange juice
2-3 tbsp sugar
Juice of half a lime or lemon
1 bottle of prosecco
Add raspberries (saving a few out for garnish if desired), fruit juices, and sugar to a blender and puree. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a small pitcher. Stir in vodka then add in the prosecco. For a nice ombre look, add raspberry puree to the glass directly, filling just under half the glass, then top with prosecco and fresh raspberries.
